With the introduction of the Nitecore Digicharger D4, Nitecore has one upped the famous Nitecore D2.This is a really modern and nice looking charger with double the capacity of what the D2 had, as it can charge up to 4 batteries simultaneously. It has a high tech intelligent charging circuitry which senses various things and after internal calculation it chooses the charging mode, be it the CC, CV or dV/dt mode. All this is done separately for slot simultaneously. This is achieved by having a small high tech dedicated microchip being in charge of this process for each slot, thus the number of these microchips comes to four. It is important to note here that when four batteries are being charged the time taken to charge increases and the voltage given also decreases as it gets divided up.This charging comes to an end by itself when the battery is fully charged thus preventing over charging, protecting the user, the battery and the device.As a user you can leave the hassle, the worry and the time wasting efforts of checking each battery, getting a separate charger and charging them separately sitting waiting carefully that they don’️t overcharge.
